Phillip Perfitt said... This priced-right tour of Speight's historic brewery takes you through the process of brewing started by the founders in 1876. Along the way down the floors of the brewery, a little of the colourful history of Dunedin is told.
The tour ends in the tasting room where the Speight's beer varieties are explained and sampled. Very enjoyable, especially if the weather is not so great outdoors! There are several tour times each day, and there's (literally) a Speight's-branded something for everyone in the souvenir shop.
Note: 200 stairs to descend in 4 or 5 flights, after elevator ride to the top floor of the brewery. Also 1 or 2 short flights to ascend at times.
