Julie and Maria miss the best bit
Loved the trip up to Pukerangi and were looking forward to enjoying the trip back especially the rocky gorge as we hoped to be outside,, while we were waiting on the return trip for food, we were in the buffet car and on return to our seats realised the best bit was already past. We felt like a couple of dolts but laughed. Well worth the money. Thank you. Just a suggestion for the food and coffee service. a supply of Nescafe coffee sticks would have been most welcome in place of a barista coffee (which wasn't on offer) and easy enough. Otherwise 10 out of 10

Delightful trip
Beautiful scenery. The commentator was thorough, had a clear voice so was easy and interesting to follow. The journey left on time and ticketing was well organised. We purchased online and appreciated getting a better price that way. A more comprehensive, walk around, historic display at the little station train goes to, would have enhanced the visit there. But overall, a highly recommended trip.

Taieri Gorge Rail Journey
A great trip, thoroughly enjoyed it. Only down side was our confirmation email after booking didn’t contain actual tickets. At check in the receptionist was kind enough to honour the booking for us.
