Review from Miss 12: It's really really fun and there's games suitable for all ages. The remotes are easy to control and even though you're having fun, time doesn't go too fast so it feels like you are there for a while. My favourite game was the space pirates.

My 3 kids booked the same session and were able to play as a team. They absolutely enjoyed it and have asked to do it again.

An amazing experience for all ages. On Mother's Day I booked Grandma (72), my sister, myself (50) and my teenage son in. There is a wide selection of games which you have control to change to throughout your time. The friendly guy working there is extremely helpful throughout. The physical experience in being in these Virtual worlds is definitely Wow.! Do the walk the Plank and see how real that feels. I loved the Whale as an opening first experience. I'm taking my son back in about 6 weeks, as he hurt himself the night before and with an arm/hand cast he couldn't do it. I know he's going to absolutely love it.

I took my boy and his mates to the Virtual Reality Studio and they love every second of it. As we left they were already making plans to go again.

My kids ABSOLUTELY LOVE being at VR- I love the price, I'm always happy to bring my children here. Facilities are always clean and staff are always friendly and willing to help and accomodate to our needs. Love the variety of games that are provided for my boys. Great place to bring the kids, the encounters are great fun and awesome to see and you learn a bit too, the staff are super friendly. Plenty of parking as well. You can spend the entire day here with just looking around to going and seeing the farm animals and also they have a great cafe on site too! Definately recommend coming here with Kids!

Took myself, two toddlers, brother & sister. We enjoyed ourselves with different exhibits and the staff were great! Wasn’t too expensive either which was awesome. Will definitely be back again, kiddies loved it ✨

Book me site could of had that open times are 9.30am and didn’t face to be there at 9.30am, as slots for bookings were timed and slots taken at 11am. Travels from Cambridge and didn’t realise didn’t have to leave so early and had someone who could of come

Kids loved it!

My 1y/o daughter had the best time!! The butterflies were her favourite part. We also loved the train, it goes around twice. Dinosaurs part was fascinating for her. The service was great. Food was yummy.

Stated on website that covid is impacting the importing of butterflies so we were prepared that there wouldn't be many on display compared to previous visits. However there is so much to see and do at Butterfly Creek, aquariums 🐠🐟 the crocodile show🐊 farm park 🐷🐇🐐🐴and train ride with the dinosaurs 🦕 all highlights for our wee girl. Great activity easily spend 2-3hours here. Can't wait to visit again soon

Wow. So much has changed and added to the aquarium and the 🐊 🐊 have grown si much bigger and larger. The last time time we was there. When a baby crocodile just been born. And was his,her birthday.as we made it I'm time. Yummie cake it was. An now was sad to see less butterflies 🦋 thou. But never mind.. the whole experience was 👌 👏 👍 😍 💖 🆒️ 👌

Quite easy to get there. We preferred not to use SkyBus because it's too expensive ($18 per person) if you go from CBD by bus. We took a bus to Onehunga Train Station ($3.10 per person) and from there the bus No.380 ($1.80). All the trip took one and a half hour. In short: we spent a very nice time. Butterfly Creek isn't a big park but this is more than enough to spend a few wonderful hours in there. Butterfly Creek staff were very friendly. Food in Butterfly Creek Cafe was, surprisingly, in a great many varieties and the prices were reasonable. We would definitely recommend Butterfly Creek to visit, especially, with kids.

So Dinosaur park! Flying dragoons! Room full of butterflys. Kids favorite! Train ride is fantastic just don't know the reason for separate ticket!

We had a great time here. It’s good for young children. We went on a Friday morning and it wasn’t busy which was great. The playground at the end was awesome. Good mix of things to see.

We really enjoyed Butterfly Creek, had not been there in years and the changes they have made are great. Lots to do for the whole family, really enjoyed the new mythical creatures display. Plenty of room for little ones to run around safely. And of course the butterflies are always great.

Both families had fun at butterfly creek kids spent lots of time playing inside the dinosaur egg.

Definitely recommend bringing your kids here! Great place for adults as well. My son enjoyed the butterfly room!! Delicious food at the cafe as well.

Loved the butterfly house. A bit misleading calling it ‘All Areas Pass’ as that is the only pass you seem to be able to buy, and it still doesn’t include everything - train ride is separate… so not sure what all areas pass really mean. Not like you can buy a pass for one area only anyway? Bit sad for some of the animals with minimal space to roam around.

Is a very nice park to go. Kids have lot of fun. And cafe with many choices of food too. Will recommend to family and friends

It was very enjoyable for my daughters 6th birthday , managed to finish our trip just before the rain started. I just wish there were some food bags left as we went to go get some and the people before us purchased 6 bags and left none for the rest of us waiting with our kids. Should maybe be a limit one per person/feeder.

I went with my Family. 3 adults, a 4yo and a baby (8m). We have been to Butterfly Creek quite a few times and this time we were disappointed with a few things (likely changes due to Covid): -the cafe a la carte menu is significantly reduced, with only very basic options -the farm indoor section is closed off, so no petting of the little animals. However, this was made up with the friendly staff at the ticket counter and the guy in the farm area bringing around the goat to pet (and feed). Also being Friday meant there was hardly anyone there, so free to roam around without waiting for anything (a bonus in these Covid times). Will probably go again once the porcupine and meerkats are there.

It was great day for kid. All the other kids were enjoying too. Remember to wear loose summer clothing as some encounters are really hot and humid. We all liked this experience and will be back for more. Thank you.

Great experience and kids love this place

Such a cool place to visit. Great for ammateur wildlife photographers like me. Friendly knowledgeable staff ensured enjoyable encounters with the wildlife and tame life (farmyard animals). Loved the butterflies, saltwater croc feeding, fish, fossils... Impressive animated dinosaurs are lots of fun for kids of all ages. The only negative is that the food was overly expensive. I am on a tight budget so it was great to get a half price deal through bookme. If you do this you might be able to afford something to eat lol. I couldn't make it on the day I booked due to a bereavement but was able to change my booking to another day without any problem.

Fantastic place - my 3 year old had the best 2 hours! Place is well maintained and many things to look at. Train is a must do and adds to the experience too
