Excellent experience in an intimate setting, looking over the body of water directly out in front of you from folding windows. It is a 4.5' x 4.5 or thereabouts stainless steel tub. Very clean. Not too hot... just nice and warm, so you could easily tolerate the temperature for an hour.
I was a bit sceptical it being on the campground and seeing a couple other hot tubs (not there)… totally unnecessary. Staff was super nice. She was Dutch, showed us everything and we had a quick lovely chat. Hot tub was awesome. Super relaxing, views amazing and had everything you need. I’m a local and will definitely come again a few times. Thanks! Great evening well spent
Not great. We've been to other hot tubs in Queenstown and surrounding areas, which we enjoyed more than this one. The staff on-site, on this night, was not hospitable at all - not a smile on check-in, telling us that we needed to be out by 8.30pm especially because it was the last session of the night (despite paying for a full-hour) etc. We were out before then anyway. No great views - just city lights, and a big tree in the way of the water, towels not great, no instructions on water temp or music etc..
The hot tubs were such a treat, set at just the right temperature and with a stunning view. Loved that we could play music through the speaker by connecting up. Mostly I appreciated that my four month old baby could accompany me into the pool area and sit in his chair while I soaked - two other facilities banned this entirely, so this was the deciding factor!
