Excellent, lived up to the glowing reviews
Our ride was nearly perfect--the weather was gorgeous, the pilot was of course a safe and excellent pilot, knowledgeable about glaciers and other geo-stuff, and the stories and terrain of our particular journey (from LOTR sites to glacier/lake formation. Equally important was his calm demeanor, professional in every way. This helped settle my wife's nervousness! He graciously took pics for all, and made efforts to assure that we all had good seats and views from the helicopter. He found a perfect landing spot with untouched new snow, and enjoyed our antics (throwing snowballs, angels and Valentine's hearts in the snow, etc.). We had debated less expensive, shorter, "alpine landing" tours, but are super glad we went with Glacier Explorer & Earnslaw Burn. One note: we didn't actually land on the Earnslaw glacier, the pilot explained that that was not permitted. But he found a perfect glacier for us nonetheless! Highly recommended for all.

Incredible
If you’re worried about the cost - it’s so worth it. Make sure you book early into your stay so if it’s cancelled you have a chance to re-book. We were third time lucky. Once in a lifetime amazing experience

Great experience with landing on a glacier
We had a really great experience. Everything was well managed. Since we were a group of 6 people, we were given a bigger helicopter and it was totally worth it. The pilot was very professional. We also got to land on a glacier. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Weather can be bad at times, so only recommendation would be to keep some buffer days.
