The stars shone above us as we quietly explored the bush tracks with red torches in hand, keeping quiet, and we got to see so many wild kiwi, it was amazing..! And the telescope and binoculars for exploring the universe at the end of the tour was also amazing! In case anyone else is going, the meeting point is just outside the toilets, inside rhe Tāwharanui regional park, so come on through the gates and keep going to the main carpark. Once you find your guide, you are all good!
