We had a great time Bit of a mixture of activities and learnings! First time kayaking but the our guide was great making sure we were safe and enjoying. We saw seals, many birds and beautiful scenery of Abel Tasman while learning how to kayak. We walked back from observation bay through coastal track to Marahau. Well maintained walking track with many birds to see. Curious Wekas and Fantails came up to us and we took a few photos with them! Must give it a try if you are visiting Nelson!
Delicious lunch (including gf option). Friendly and informative guide. Couldn’t have asked for more, thank you!
Excellent kayak tour from Margo! So friendly and passionate about the area and lots of fun!🤩
Highly recommend this walk & kayak day trip with Abel Tasman Kayaks (ATK). Our guide Mo has an amazing knowledge of the area including the bird sanctuary of Adele Island, such an asset! We set out from Marahau on foot, enjoyed a great coffee at the track start then into the walk proper. We found using the Abel Tasman app as recommended by ATK a godsend. The app tracks your location in the park, no guessing where we were or which turn to take. The app has loads of great information on tides, weather & sites of interest. The lunch provided was delicious, my gluten free option was perfect. A fantastic way to see some of our Abel Tasman National Park, we will be back.

Amazing
We did the walk & kayak, which was amazing! Had good chats with our guide (I think his name was Henry - I missed the introductions sorry), who was very knowledgeable on the local wildlife and plants, and just overall loved everything about the experience. Even my partner, who's very much an indoor cat, had a great time! The lunch provided was really nice too and I got a vegan option, which was awesome, and we all got dessert and fruit! Despite all my fears, my phone did not get wet either lol. Highly recommend!
