Welcome to Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools & Spa.
Relaxing rock pools, soothing sulphur pools, cascading pools, and an array of water jets and bubbles - at a range of temperatures.
For the kids (and kids at heart!) we have four hydroslides, including New Zealand’s longest waterslide, Conical Thrill, activity pools and a lazy river.
We're excited to introduce the debut of Violet Vortex and Waiau Winder. These innovative slides have taken the place of our cherished older beige and green slides. Our latest slides feature cutting-edge LED lighting and projection technology, enhancing the thrill factor and crafting a unique adventure!
Entry price includes all outdoor pools and slides.

Hanmer springs
We went at 4.30 on a fruday night great time to go not to many people. It was trying to rain but it wasn't much . We had a great time . Thanks hanmer springs very relaxing.

Good experience but overpriced
We did enjoy the pools but at $40 (without book me ) an adult don’t think would go back. The variety of pools was good and that they have a pool to do laps in was an added bonus.

Hamner Springs thermal Pools and Spa
We traveled to hamner Springs from Picton solely because of the hot pools and were definitely not disappointed. Staff were excellent at reception helpful with lockers to save us money as we were going to buy 2. But came up with a better solution and got the feeling that safety was a priority. The landscape setting was stunning. Plenty of pools to pick. Clean everywhere. Café offers plenty of kai options too. We went day time then later on when it got dark because of the April special. Even more stunning when place is lite up with colored lights.
