EcoZip Adventures, set on the beautiful sub-tropical island of Waiheke, is a playground for nature lovers of all ages.
Your eco-adventure begins when we pick you up from Waiheke Islands Matiatia ferry terminal and take you on a 20-minute Waiheke Highlights Tour, which showcases the island’s very best beaches and vineyards as you make your way to Zip-HQ, located on the apex of Waiheke’s pretty Trig Hill.
Marvel at the spectacular 360 degree views of Waiheke Island and beyond from our viewing deck before making your way across the our airbridge to our take-off tower. After getting geared-up, and a short briefing, you’re all set to enjoy the first of our three, 200-metre long, state-of-the-art flying fox ziplines!
Feel the rush of zipping at speeds of up to 60kph as you are suspended high above the native forest canopy, with pristine beaches and Auckland City as an amazing backdrop. Our dual ziplines mean you can share the fun as you zip side-by-side with a friend - making this the most unique social activity! Our expert guides do all the work, leaving you free to simply relax in your comfy harness and admire the spectacular birds-eye views.
During our return to Zip-HQ you’ll be treated to an easy guided nature walk through ancient forest, where you’ll hear about the history of Waiheke and learn about our conservation of this incredible natural environment.
Our complimentary drop off service to a number of Waiheke locations will enable you to make the most of the rest of your time on the island.

A must do experience
Well worth the time and effort, and a LOT of fun. I particularly liked the ecological sustainability aspect of this adventure.

Birthday ziplining
Fantastic experience with supportive and highly competent staff especially with safety. It was a fun day out celebrating birthdays and challenging ourselves to try something new and out of our comfort zones.

Excellent Experience
Loved the whole experience from start to finish. "Our bus driver was chatty and funny and knew lots about the island, this kept us interested till we arrived at the venue. Our 2 guides Lucy and Sophie were amazing! Not just funny, sociable and remembered people's names they made us all feel safe. Was impressed by the knowledge we learnt of the trees etc when walking back through the bush- thanks loved it!

Flash of adrenaline!
A perfect way to begin the long weekend and a surprise bday trip for my man. We both enjoyed the Zipline and wish to have a go again. The lovely guides Poppy and Macy did a great job keeping us all pumping and enthusiastic! Highly recommendđź‘Ť
