Mark was our pilot for our flight. He really did a comprehensive fly over most parts of the Southern alps around the Franz Josef and Fox glaciers. He went over and above his duty as a pilot to become a really great host and tour guide of sorts. He took time and effort to explain some of the lores and histories of the various places and landmarks he mentioned especially Franz Josef and Fox glaciers. After he landed the helicopter safely and very professionally on the glacier, he allowed us sufficient time to take lots of photos and videos. He even volunteered to take photos for some for us and offered us a nice drink with the ice from the glacier!
Overall, I would say that this trip though it might seem a little pricey but it is worth every penny seriously.
