We had originally booked for midday but had a call suggesting we bring it forward to 8am due to the weather which was a great choice as we got to see the last of the sunrise over the mountains. The flight was by far the best part. After flying to Milford sound the cruise ended up being slightly underwhelming for us as there hadn’t been any rain that day so meant there weren’t as many waterfalls - was worth it purely for the flight. Our pilot Andrew was great!
