The International Antarctic Centre transports a slice of this astounding continent to Christchurch, with a range of immersive experiences that allow everyday visitors to see, touch, feel and fall in love with Antarctica.

Genuane Experience of Antarctic at Glans
Without going to Antarctic, I could get the feeling of being in Antarctic. It was a life time experience. We as human beings need to be very careful regarding preservation and contribute 100% without bleaming governments and countries for globel warming due to which may of the animal species have become extinct and are on the verg. Protect environment.... protect ..nature...protect beauty of Nature

Fun & Interesting
Good place to visit to learn about one of the coldest and harshest continent in our precious world and all the people who have braved the condition. The summer storm room is always fun and the Hagglund ride also always fun and tends to make ppl laugh even the most stout of them :) Just a good vibe all around - the new addition Huskies was a good addition. Wish they weren't having their naps so I could pat their soft furs but oh well - we also have to respect them on their workplace >_<

Excellent experience
Amazing experience as soon as you walk in the door . Excellent staff service all through the centre , knowledgeable and very helpful . The penguins are so adorable , loved the talk on them thank you 🙏. The 4d experience was absolutely fantastic definitely a laugh and so wonderful. The huskys just lovely and you get to pat them . the Edmund Hilary exhibits and information were brilliant. The hagglund ride hold on tight I could not stop laughing , thank you Andrew .

Pleasant Moment
It’s amazing to have such Antarctic knowledge before I leave NZ as a tourist. I loved the Hagglund Field ride but I think it’s too short to experience. The 4D Extreme is also very good experience that I was indeed at Antarctic. The blue penguins are so cute and lovely that we can closely see them and photo them that specific in your country. I indeed admire your smartness in running this Centre for tourist to have an eye open when they leave, good job!!!
