Restrictions

Minimum age: 2
Health & Safety Restrictions: We take the safety and wellbeing of all guests very seriously. For this reason, our hot tub bookings require a minimum of 2 people. There must also be someone over the age of 18 present with children at all times.
Cancellation Policy: Free cancellation/Modification outside of 24 hours of date and time of hot tub session. Bookings are non-refundable and non-changeable within 24 hours of date and time of session.

This experience welcomes families with children.

Notes

Please Note: The hot tub fee includes access to the Hot Tub only, access to Driftaway Queenstowns other facilities is not included.
Hot Tubs differ to Jacuzzis and do not have powerful jets/bubbles.
The Hot Tubs allow for 2-4 people per session. This activity must be completed with a minimum of two people. If you arrive with one person you will not be admitted to the hot tub
and no refund will be given

. Maximum four people. Children must be two or over but still requires two adults (over 18 years) to be in attendance.
You can bring beverages to enjoy but no glassware. Acrylic glasses are available from reception.
Strictly no food to be brought or consumed in the hot tubs.
The 1 hour time allowed includes change time.
The temperature of the hot tubs is 38 degrees but can vary 1 or 2 degrees either way.
Parking: There is free roadside parking available, as well as on the lakefront below our property. We recommend allowing 5 minutes for parking. Please note, there is no parking available inside the property.
Smoke/Vape Free: Driftaway Queenstown is a Smoke/Vape free property.

Highly recommended. Staff was so welcoming. Hot tub experience is so good. It was relaxing and refreshing. Do not miss it out if you are with young kiddos. Absolutely stunning views from the tub. We loved it

Bad Timing

Have been to Driftaway previously and enjoyed it however this time it was not at all enjoyable. Neighboring hot tubs had either blaring music or yelling kids. Not fair to other guests and staff should have managed this. We paid $138 for quite an irritating hour.

We absolutely loved our visit to Driftaway Hot Pools in Queenstown! The experience was as good as Onsen, and with the addition of shower facilities, it could easily beat it. The setting is simply breathtaking – a perfect view of the lake combined with the unique thrill of watching planes take off. The pools were relaxing, well-maintained, and beautifully designed to make the most of the scenery. We’d love to stay here next time if there’s availability – but you definitely need to plan well in advance to secure an accommodation booking. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a stunning, peaceful soak in Queenstown!
