louisels said... It was surreal to kayak at night on the riverside of Waikato! You start just before sunset to enjoy it, go through a man-made lake, before going to a little stream that goes through a lovely canyon. Our guide, Mac, was perfect, guiding us through the history of the site and kayaking on top of a submerged powerhouse! Crazy! It was a bit cold, but nothing that couldn't be cured by some hot drink and snacks (included in the service). And you finish by cruising through the canyon where all the glowworms are, incredible! And bonus, we were only 3 during our tour, so it felt really special. Thnaks again!
