Brilliant experience. Something for everyone. Well worth the hours drive from Auckland.
Sculptureum is a wonderful experience, lots of amazing sculptures, secret gardens and artworks, just magical. The restaurant Rothkom is also a wonderful dining experience, the food was delicious and the staff were friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. The gift shop also has a lovely array of wines, glasses and gifts. Highly recommend for a visit.
As Locals this has been on our bucket list of things to do. The story was fascinating, and the grounds and sculptures were great. Unfortunately, the multitudes of birds throughout in tiny cages and Rabbits and turtles in tiny enclosures (turtles tiny, dirty and unethical) took away from the whole experience. Found ourselves feeling sad whilst walking throughout at the small cages and condition some these animals were inhabiting. There was someone attending to them however not adequate at all. Overall, not nice experience
I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. There is so much to see. Beautiful gardens, amazing sculptures and art.
