This is a white water enthusiasts dream and is a must do for adrenaline junkies and 1st timers rafters alike!
No prior experience is necessary as you will be given full and comprehensive training but basic swimming skills is recommended
All you need is a reasonable level of fitness, a sense of fun and adventure, swimwear and a towel.

My favourite in NZ
This is the second time I've experienced this river and although it is short it is exciting from start to finish and the guides are professional and funny.

LOUIE WAS AWESOME!! GIVE THE MAN SOME BEERS!!!
What an amazing family adventure. The kiddos were nervous at the start but soon settled into the jokes and the banter and the truly magical location. The gorge looked so ancient and untouched in parts you could easily have been in a movie scene. We felt totally safe - always knew what was expected of us and instructions were clear. Would 100% recommend Kaituna Rafting to everyone!! Thank you all for a wonderful experience.
