Excellent flight with wonderful weather, couldn’t ask for a better experience on the glacier…..smooth flights up and back.
Extremely disappointed with this experience. I booked a specific ride through Book me, but the operator unilaterally downgraded my booking and gave me a totally different ride without my permission. What makes this worse is that I contacted them more than five times prior to confirm I would receive exactly what I paid for. They ignored my confirmations, provided an inferior service, and then refused to offer a refund. This is a total scam and a breach of the booking agreement. Avoid this operator.
Hi there, We absolutely apologise — it seems there has clearly been a significant lapse in communication on our side regarding your original booking and the alternative flight we had offered after you were unable to make it for the original booking. We understand how frustrating this must feel,. That’s not the experience we aim to deliver, and we’re genuinely sorry for the confusion and disappointment caused. We have reached out to you directly to review what happened and work towards a fair resolution, and we would really appreciate the opportunity to make this right. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
This has been one of the best things we’ve done in NZ! The pilots were all friendly and chatty and the flight itself was incredible, we took the 16:30 flight (much recommended) and saw the beginnings of the sunset on the mountains! An incredible experience I would recommend to anyone! Was really cool having the helicopter up and ski plane down!

Amazing experience, but seat choice matters
The Ultimate Alpine Combo with INFLITE Mount Cook was an amazing experience. The scenery was stunning and the glacier landing was great. The main downside, however, is that the overall experience depends heavily on where you are seated, despite everyone paying the same price. I was seated at the very back on the right side, and the view was clearly not comparable to what passengers at the front (or left side) could enjoy. As for those seated in the middle, their visibility was very limited. We did get the chance to switch seats on the return flight, which was definitely appreciated, but the difference in experience between seats still feels quite significant. That said, it was still an amazing experience overall and one I would recommend.
