Peter said... We had looked at dining at the Podium on several occasions but never quite made it. As we had a pick up at Queenstown airport later that night, we decided to combine this with dinner.
We were met by the front of house who was pleasant, welcoming and we were promptly seated.
Lovely surroundings and the temperature of the restaurant was just right for us. Offered sparkling/still water whilst we perused the menus (drink and food). Questions were asked of the wait staff on how certain items were cooked, the waitress went to ask the chef and then answered our questions.
The food came out in a timely manner and was well presented with generous proportions.
Fish of the day was well cooked as were the thrice cooked fries. My Prawn and Chorizo linguini, stunning!
No room for dessert.
