Ruth Bowman said... Even in the rain, Milford Sound is still pretty beautiful. The boats have a top deck (where we spent most of our time despite the weather) and two other decks so if you're not into the rain you can stay dry. There were also screens inside showing the view from the front of the boat (though in my opinion not the same as seeing it in person). We packed in sandwiches and snacks, the food options seemed unreasonably expensive but they did smell good!

Windy and rainy...but fun nonetheless!
