Discover an exquisite collection of art galleries, gardens, and sculptures executed to world-class standard at Sculptureum Auckland.
Voted as one of the top things to do in Auckland, you will be captivated and inspired as you explore three sculpture-filled gardens and six art galleries.
The sculpture gardens are spread over 1.4km of flat paths and full of surprises around every corner! You'll see beautifully crafted sculptures, prehistoric rocks, live animals and reflective quotes surrounded by lush plants.
The themed indoor galleries will delight the senses, featuring artworks of all kinds including glass, figurative, recycled materials, animals and modern abstract works. You will be stunned by the final gallery which boasts a grand, glass chandelier by the famous American artist Dale Chihuly.
When you've finished exploring, take a break at the vineyard or indulge in the artfully crafted food and wine at Rothko Restaurant. There really is something for everyone!

Worth the wait!
This is something I have been looking forward to for a few months now! Finally got to see the gardens, the galleries and the restaurant on our last day in Auckland, our last stop on a journey around NZ. It was everything I had hoped for and more. I appreciate the whimsical and quirky pieces as well as the more serious pieces. There are some great examples of natural pieces too (rocks sculpted by natural forces). Then there’s the restaurant. It fits so well in this setting. A varied and unique menu is offered. We went with the chef’s surprise and were not disappointed. Each dish was beautifully served and prepared perfectly. So glad we made the journey up from Auckland!

We’re not going to an Art gallery are we?
That’s what hubby said as we were walking in but this was not like any other Art gallery we had been too! It is so well done, engaging, thought provoking, modern and provides interest for all ages. Highly recommend!
