This trip was one of those ‘I must go there sometime !’ Trips . We were 4 siblings away together. This cruise was the highlight. The waters calm, the scenery glorious, the staff competent and lovely abs the Captain an informwdx joy.
Great day out, beautiful scenery, crew are amazing. Will go again. Peacocks are friendly, great views from the track walks.
My husband and I loved the return cruise to Kawau Island. Ian, the skipper was great to talk to, and the trip provided a great insight into the challenges and attractions of living on Kawau Island. We live in Greymouth, a town named after Sir George Grey so visiting the Mansion House was a highlight. Meeting and chatting with some of the volunteers who help keep the house and gardens looking so good was special. Thank you Jen for the amazing tour. If you get the chance to visit Kawau Island, go for it!
Great Day Out. Enjoyed our cruise on the Mail Run lots of stops around the different bays and interesting facts shared by the skipper. We spent some time at Mansion house and had a picnic which we brought with us as we knew the cafe wasn't open due to winter hours.

Lovely scenic island
The boat trip was excellent. Calm waters and a gorgeous clear day. We did the mail drop drop, but only trouble was we didn't have enough time to explore. Ferry arrived 30minutes late which didn't leave sufficient time to walk to the copper mine before return departure.
