Wairakei Terraces
A visit to the Wairakei terraces was great. There were 4 pools in total and all different temperatures. Very insightful, all the information boards around the grounds/gardens, detailing many native species of trees and shrubs. Despite being man-made, the pools and gardens beside made for a fantastic relaxing afternoon.

Great experience for relaxed soak
Really enjoyed these hot springs. Different temperature pools in nice surroundings. Great in the rain! Shower and changing facilities very small but that didn’t impact the experience
