Blast through narrow canyons, and speed over the crystal clear waters of the upper Waikato River. Experience the thrill and manoeuvrability of this impressive watercraft as your jet boat negotiates tight spins and takes on the Nga Awa Purua Rapids with full V8 power and aggression; surfing the pressure waves and ripping up and down the white water.
The scenery on the river is spectacular and there is ample time to enjoy your amazing surrounds while learning about the wildlife and history of the area.
Rapids Jet is set in the beautiful Aratiatia Scenic Reserve just 15 minutes drive north of Taupo and 50 minutes south of Rotorua and is guaranteed to get the blood pumping.

Great experience
We loved our experience with Rapid Jets. I took my niece (12) and nephew (7) from Australia and they LOVED it and really enjoyed their time. Even in the pissing down rain they loved it. Jacob was amazing.

We had an awesome experience with Jacob our driver. A great thrill for people who had never done it before with speed, spins and jumps!

Good fun
One of the most dynamic jet boat rides that I have experience. Very pleased that I inadvertently booked with Rapid Jets & not the competition that went to the Huka Falls! Highly recommended…!
