Allow approximately 5 hours drive time from Queenstown or 3 hours from Te Anau.

Notes

Car parking in Milford Sound is $10 per hour, if parking in the main car park, please allow 10-12 minutes to walk to the terminal. There is free parking in Deepwater Basin, please allow 25-30 minutes to walk to the terminal. If you choose to self-drive, we recommend arriving into Milford Sound at least one hour prior to your scheduled cruise departure to allow sufficient time to find a car park and make your way to the Milford Sound Cruise Terminal. For further information about car parking please visit milfordsountourism.nz/parking

A magical cruise

An absolutely stunning cruise on Milford Sound, high cliffs, waterfalls, followed by the sea. Incredible scenery. Boat is comfortable both inside and out, making it a great experience.

A must do experience

This is a must do experience, the cruise is a medium size which is perfect to get closer to the waterfall. And it's was our lucky day we get to see pods of Dolphine swimming beside us.

Amazing Experience

We were able to take 1:30 pm cruise. I was with my sister and her family(2 kiddos). Buffet started already upon boarding. Weather was good and oh the view was breathtaking! Lovely to see dolphin and fur seals. At least I was able to see a few waterfalls even though it was sunny. Love to come back here
