Trust us, Queenstown looks much different from up here. Enjoy the spectacular landscape of Lake Whakatipu and the surrounding mountains from our landing point on top of The Remarkables.
One of only two mountain ranges in the world to run directly North-South, and spectacular to boot, The Remarkables is aptly named. This excursion takes you over the winding Shotover and Kawarau rivers and up to this dramatic mountain range for our landing โ and if youโre flying in winter we may even land in the snow!
Take in the beauty of Lake Whakatipu, Queenstown and the surrounding mountains (and definitely take some photographs) before we head back to base.

Helicopter ride
Awesome experience better views overlooking mountains, glaciers. Money well spent and our Tour guide James was great and informative ๐ will definitely be back to bring my older children ๐

Like a dream
Got upgraded for no extra charge and had the most amazing flight. Mind blowing scenes, excellent pilot, once in a lifetime and so grateful to heliworks for one of the best experiences we've ever had

Awesome experience
I booked it as the same day experience and a spontaneous surprise for mom and Heliworks did not disappoint! We loved it! The flight went smooth, the views were stunning, the pilot was knowledgeable. I did not expect the landing, so that was an extra surprise for both mom and I. There were only four of us, so we had the privilege to change sits after the peak landing. I would highly recommend this experience if youโre visiting Queenstown.

Worth it
Secinic snow landing was definitely a fun experience especially for 1st timers. The team was super helpful and helped us with luggage storage for the day! As a last minute activity to do this was totally worth every $ spent. We had a great pilot too!
