Whakarewarewa
The Whakarewarewa guided tour was fantastic. We had a wonderful guide who gave us a real insight into what it was like living and being brought up in a Maori village. She explained everything clearly and with passion and as we walked around pointed out many things of interest. The method of cooking dinner was a real insight as was the hot pools and social aspects of the village. A great experience, I would certainly recommend going.

Hatten uns mehr erwartet. Die Führung war nett mit guten Infos zur Historie , allerdings handelt es sich um keine historischen Gebäude sondern um Häuser, welche überall stehen können. Interessant fanden wir lediglich den Badebereich. Für den vollen Preis hätten wir uns geärgert

Worth the visit!
I’d been here before but was taking my family for a trip. The village is fascinating. The landscape, the history and how the geo thermals are put to practical use. However, this time I’d say I enjoyed the tour so much more because of the lovely, informative and witty guide we had named Wai.
