Your experience begins with a magical cruise across Lake Wakatipu aboard the TSS Earnslaw, a vintage steamship launched in 1912 and rich in local pioneering history.
Soak up the spectacular views with a wine or beer from our bar, visit the mini-museum or check out the action in the engine room as we cruise towards Walter Peak.
Upon disembarking, you will be greeted by our rural host who will take you on a fascinating guided tour where you will get to meet our friendly farm animals.
On this interactive farming experience, you'll be able to see a sheep shearing demonstration and watch farm dogs round up sheep from the paddocks.
Visit the holding pens and feed the farm animals before enjoying freshly baked afternoon tea in our newly-renovated delightfully rustic wool shed.
A unique and interactive experience that will enable you to immerse yourself into rural New Zealand life.

Amazing experience
The Earnslaw is an impressive steamboat and it’s great to see a fully working steamboat that has been around for 113 years. Walter Peak Farm was awesome you get to feed and pat the animals. So beautiful

Lived up to expectation
Had heard about this excursion via friends. Finally I had the opportunity to do it. Relaxing few hours. Great info onboard in relation to the Earnslaw's history. Farm tour was great. The afternoon tea - pleasantly surprised at the range of gf goodies prepared.
