Watch a YouTube Video on Fitting Boots Beforehand!
Had a great time without having to drive all the way to the ski fields and the book me special price made it very affordable! I hadn't skied for years and found the ski boots hard to get on (tight) but once my foot was in them they seemed too loose. My sister had the same experience and also incorrectly tucked her longs into the boots. We both must have had boots too big and not knowing how to put them on properly which made the skiing less comfotrable and more difficult to control. The assistants were all very nice but it would be an improvement if they advised people about correct boot sizes and how to put them on. I just watched a YouTube video which was very helpful. Note: It is quite cold as you don't have the sun warming you up as you would on the real slopes. The jumps are great fun too!

Snow Planet is a great adventure
The people are friendly, the gear hire is efficient and the snow is awesome!

Snow Planet Silverdale Auckland
The Snow Planet facilities inside the cafe and viewing lounge are excellent for parents to watch their children. The Ski & Snowboarding slopes are well designed for all ages and will be even better once they expand it.

great trip
nice and friendly staff, if only they could provide newbie like me like a quick tutorial before entering the dome, caused I hit a lots of people there, sorry guys anything else was perfect

Good times
First time at snow planet. Upon arrival you have to pay $7 per person for the lift pass cards BUT if you return them you get your money back. Overall good fun, does get quiet busy here. Highly recommend winter gloves
