Will definitely be back!! Clean facilities and could easily see that this place is well looked after. Definitely left feeling soothed and refreshed. Had the best sleep in a while that night too. My girls 9, 11 and 23yrs really appreciated the experience too.

Relaxing, Natural, and Unique Northland Experience
Ngawha Springs was such a refreshing and down-to-earth experience. The setup is simple but really charming — it’s all about the natural geothermal mineral pools, each with its own temperature and character. We loved trying different pools and the natural warmth was perfect on a chilly winter evening. What stood out most was how non-commercialized it felt — just pure, healing, mineral-rich water in a peaceful setting. It’s clean, well-run, and staff are helpful without being intrusive. Bonus points for the thoughtful touches like foot showers, benches, and clean changing areas. Great for adults looking to soak and unwind — and even our 3.5-year-old was happy to dip into the cooler pools (though not all are suitable for kids, so do ask). Definitely worth a stop if you're heading to or from Paihia or Tāne Mahuta. A real Northland gem!
