I have been going to Waimarino since I was a little kid. Now, I am taking my own children here.. and it is just as neat as it has always been! The water float activities are so cool! The kids had an absolute ball and their only complaint was that they couldn’t stay longer! Something for the whole family - from young to old. An absolute must do for sure! The staff were full of knowledge and so lovely, and the adventure park was full of different activities. A place where a whole day is needed to enjoy it all.
We had a fantastic day out . All our group of 15 people enjoyed it from. 3 year olds to 60+ 😀. Highly recommended, (ps. Book your tickets on book me or an external platform to save some dollars )
What an awesome way to celebrate a 9 year old birthday!! The kids had the best time & were spoilt for choice on which activity to do! Recommend allowing at least 3 hours to spend there.
Kids had a good time until a kayaking crew came into their warm pool with their kayaks. The female instructor in pic was rude to one of our girls. A male instructor was also rude to us. Not sure that Waimarino advertise that they’re going to put the kayak in the warm pool while we were in there warming up. Other than that, the other person working on the other stations was nice and helpful. Note we’ve been there lots before but never had to share warm pool with a kayak flipping around in there with us.
