Experience the thrill of stepping up to the plate at The Fieldhouse, home to New Zealand’s only American-style indoor batting cages, where fun and friendly competition come together for all ages and skill levels!

Guests can choose between baseball, softball, or cricket and face state-of-the-art pitching machines with adjustable speeds, making it just as enjoyable for first-timers as it is for seasoned players. With all equipment provided at no extra cost, there’s nothing to prepare—simply turn up, grab a bat, and start swinging.

Flexible booking options include 30-minute sessions suited for up to two people and one-hour sessions ideal for up to four, with the option to book multiple lanes for larger groups. The indoor setting means the experience can be enjoyed in any weather, while the lively atmosphere makes it perfect for family outings, casual catch-ups with friends, training sessions, or light-hearted competitions.

More than just a bit of fun, it’s also a great way to stay active, improve coordination, and try something a little different in a welcoming and energetic space!

Notes

  • Sessions are booked by time, not per person.

    • 30-minute session suitable for up to 2 people.
    • 1-hour session suitable for up to 4 people.
    • Groups of 3 or more should consider booking multiple lanes for the best experience.

    Cricket: This is a self-feed machine, so a partner is required to load the balls.

    Minimum age: 6 years old.

    All equipment is provided at no extra cost. Just turn up and play!

    Closed-toe shoes are recommended for safety.

    Booking in advance is recommended to secure your preferred time slot.

    Please arrive on time. Sessions begin at the scheduled time and cannot be extended for late arrivals.

Great place to zone out and learn hitting incoming balls. Staff were friendly and this is a fun place to have a jam with your mates or just hits some balls by yourself - Only recommended if you're very patient enough in learning to at least hit the ball as if you just rock-up with lack/no experience..... you will not have fun
