A trip worth taking once in a lifetime
Our group had the best experience on this tour. Our driver Keith was very knowledgeable, he was like a talking encyclopaedia. I could listen to him narrate the wonderful views and natural phenomena all days Milford Sound is so captivating you don't want the cruise to end. Will definitely do it again in the future

Milford is always a good idea
Second time in Milford Sound but first time hopping on a coach tour together with my parents. We all had fun. Very informative tour guide/driver and we felt welcomed and accommodated. First time trying with Southern Discoveries and the sail was so smooth. Not to mention the buffet. Omg! Super delicious. The asian in me is very happy. Milford is always a good idea. We all had a great experience.

A-MAZING despite stormy weather
We decided to book the bus ride plus buffet with Southern Discovery and I thoroughly recommend this deal. The main reason is that we had an excellent bus driver (Greg) who not only handled the bus confidently in heavy rain and wind but gave interesting facts throughout (and plenty of jokes!). We didn't have to worry about the road and enjoyed the views around us. The buffet was delicious and especially welcomed in the stormy weather. Despite the storm, we managed to see lots of waterfalls and enjoy ourselves. It was like being in a scene from Avatar! Highly recommend.
