Brilliant time even in rain

Went with our 2 boys aged 7 & 9. They loved it ( even if it meant parents had to do a lot of the paddling ;) ) A bit of rain at beginning but soon disappeared and amazing view into glow worm cave. Hot pools were a treat ! I would totally recommend

Great Kayak Tour

Excellent experience, the guide (Rosa) really engaged with the clients and made the experience very personal! I would choose this tour if you're more keen for the kayaking and hot pools aspect as the cave is underwhelming compared to other locations but still very cool. The kayaks and equipment were in great condition, the paddles are feathered so easier to use if you have experience paddling.

Lake Rotoiti Kayak trip

Great kayak trip with the family , really enjoyed the whole experience. The guides were brilliant , very helpful , professional and made eevrything seem very easy.It was a pity due to the weather that we couldn't go to the Hot pools but the Glow worms were still great to see and well worth the trip.Enjoyed the Kayaking experience very much truly a beautiful lake to explore.

its alright

It was a good kayaking experience with friendly staff. However, perhaps back luck, we were placed in a faulty kayak that kept steering right and had fallen far behind the group because of it. I would recommend that if it's raining to not bring your glasses along or secure them well (I lost mine)q. The glowworm caves are terrible small that it 'snuggly' fits one kayak in the cave to look around. The wonderful staff and the hotpools did make up for the poop experience at the beginning.
