We had an amazing half day 4WD guided trip with Doug through the Matukituki Valley. Amazing scenery and expertly driven and guided with Doug's local knowledge. We felt very safe in capable hands, unlike the many non 4WD vehicles we saw attempt to navigate the valley.
The trip included many scenic stops which included Wishbone Waterfalls, Matukituki Suspension Bridge, Treble Cone Summit. Doug was very accommodating as we took photos.
We had the bonus of watching the paragliders fly off Treble Cone - Doug being a paragliding enthusiast explained the wind dynamics in detail which was very interesting.
Due to our plans changing we made a night before booking which we were surprised to be able to do.
We would highly recommend this trip.
