Experience not to miss!
This was one of our highlights of visiting NZ! The day we explored Milford Sound was sunny and perfect, although I've heard it is even more spectacular in rainy weather (the waterfalls are bigger). The cruise ship was well equipped with complementary hot drinks and the staff were friendly and helpful. Regardless of the amount of people, you still get a seat and a great view of the scenery - there are indoor and outdoor options available. Very important, though, is to arrive extra early (or at least plan to), because the traffic en route is dead slow.

Wonderful cruise at a spectacular fjord
Excellent guide/commentator. Nice picnic lunch. Glacier water bottle refill - wow! Super long selfie stick guy was annoying.. Timing and pace Excellent. Real mugs for tea great
