Sit back and relax as we cruise the length of the 16km Fiord, venturing past the iconic Mitre Peak to the mighty Lady Bowen Falls, Lion Mountain, Copper Point, Seal Rock and Stirling Falls. Be sure to keep an eye out along the way for seals basking in the sun, pods of dolphins and even the rare Fiordland Crested Penguins that can be found seasonally within the region.
Our 2 hour cruises have strictly limited passenger numbers, ensuring you an intimate and authentic experience of one of the world’s most beautiful scenic destinations. Whether sitting inside our out on our viewing deck, you will have fantastic unobstructed photo opportunities as your knowledgeable and friendly skipper provides a fascinating commentary on the highlights along the course of the cruise.

The best cruise
Loved the experience aboard the mitre peak. A smaller boat but ideal amount of passengers! Very comfortable and it covered a longer way than others. Did the 8:50 departure and it was perfect weather sunny and may waterfalls after a long raining night! Captain gave so much info and staff was kind! I booked based on price deal but it turned out better than expected!

Less coach trips on the last boat!
When I saw some of the other boats I was so relieved we had booked with Mitre Peak. Smaller boat, more space to move around and less coach trips to contend with at check in! Booking the last cruise of the day was also a good move - the road was quiet when we were driving back to Te Anau and all the coaches had long since left! The trip itself was wonderful - I was perfectly placed to have the dolphins jumping up right next to me and we had blue sky - might have meant less waterfalls, but you can never complain about sunshine. It was magical.
