Once we’ve arrived in Glenorchy you’ll have plenty of time to relax and take stunning photos of the beautiful top of the lake location. You’ll have time to explore Glenorchy’s short walks, café's, the local pubs and enjoy the scenery before returning to Queenstown.

- Pick up times: 8am and 1pm from Athol Street
- Stop for photo opportunities along the shoreline of Lake Wakatipu.
- Arrive in Glenorchy with 1.5 hours of free time to explore.
- Returning back to Queenstown at approx 12.00pm & 5:00pm.

Amazing day out, no regrets 🫶🏼
I ended up being the only one on this trip and Jorge my driver became my personal guide. He was very patient, kind, funny and accommodating. Very knowledgeable young man who gave me insights into the places we stopped at, that I never knew despite having been to Glenorchy before. It was also my birthday and he made it fun and unforgettable: we had a mini sing-along in the van and that really made my day! This trip is perfect for a day out to explore Glenorchy: not too long nor too short and the van ride is very comfortable. If you can, ask for Jorge; he’s the sweetest 😊

KINDEST Tour Guide
We had such a great experience on our Glenorchy tour! Unfortunately, I can’t remember our guide’s name (I’m just terrible with names), but he was absolutely wonderful. He was incredibly generous with his time and knowledge, and since my friend and I ended up being the only ones on the tour, it felt very personal and relaxed. The audio equipment that was supposed to narrate parts of the trip didn’t work, but he seamlessly stepped in and guided us himself—which honestly made the experience even better. His storytelling and knowledge of the area brought everything to life in a way no recording ever could. I really appreciated his flexibility and kindness throughout the day. Highly recommend this tour—it was such a memorable highlight of our New Zealand trip!

Dave was spectacular
Just got back from the Glenorchy Kiwi Special Tour and it was an incredible experience. The scenery was breathtaking from start to finish, but what made the trip truly unforgettable was our guide, Dave. He was knowledgeable, entertaining, and went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great time. His storytelling and local insights added so much depth to the journey, and he made the whole group feel relaxed and engaged. You can tell he’s passionate about what he does, and it really showed throughout the day. If you’re heading to Glenorchy, this tour is a must and make sure you get Dave as your guide!
