Conveniently located just 10 minutes from Tauranga city, the park is a lush paradise on the banks of the Wairoa River that’s been the regions premier kayaking & recreational destination for over 4 decades.
The park is focused around the enjoyable sport of kayaking and provides the perfect day out for family and friends. This full day pass provides you with access to all of the parks adventure activities including the water trampoline, kayak slide, gladiator pole, diving boards, thermal pool, tarzan swing and so much more!
Guests are welcome to bring picnics or to make use of the onsite bbq’s and the park also has toilets and changing facilities. Come and spend the day kayaking, swinging, climbing and swimming in this little slice of paradise!

Staff was so helpful with our umbrella ( fixing it ) Loved everything about waimarino , especially our moko Loved everything.. highly recommend 💯👍

So much fun
We had a really cool, wholesome family day out. We got there just after opening time, got a good parking spot and picnic table, took our own food but bought a few snacks at the shop. We stayed till closing, we got lucky with the weather and we we're all absolutely exhausted that night and the next day, but it was the best kind of fatigue. Our ages ranged from 3 through to 49, we had dare devils and scaredy cats in our crew, we all loved it. The staff were great and facilities were all tidy.

Lots of fun activities
The kids hac a absolute blast and I have a lovely day oc relaxing on a bean bag reading in the shade. Awesome place for the kids highly recommend 👌

Great Place
My Grandchildren had a great day at Waimarino. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back.
