The helicopter will then make an alpine snow landing, where you’ll be let loose to play in the snow and capture those picture perfect photos! An exhilarating and memorable journey from start to finish, this is sure to be an experience that will be remembered for a lifetime.
The views were breathtaking and Sam, our pilot was amazing. What a special, unforgettable experience!
We were lucky enough to get a beautiful day to fly out in the middle of winter and what a sight to see! It was awesome to land and have a play in the thick deep snow, our pilot was great and loved going up and close to Mt Cook. Thanks everyone we had such a blast!
Recommend the morning flight to get bright view the sunshine will cover on front of mountains We booked the morning flight but they changed our flight to the afternoon at 4pm it was nearly sunset and environment is dark views not good as morning We are the last customers on the day the pilot seemed hurried to finish his job This company is far away from mt Cook within the 35 mins flight there were 10 mins flight actually seen nothing
We were told to bring warm clothes when we make a booking so we had lunch outside then went back to the resort to take wams clothes etc. We we arrived I believe the same guy laughed at us and said we don't need warm clothes as its summer. Why did you tell us to bring warm clothes? -japanese guy at my cook office. We were really squeezed inside the heli as it was a busy season. And the captain told us not to ask any questions during flight as it is busy. Snow landing was disappointing and spend majority of time at the snow we were all staing there for about 10minutes. I do not recommend this

Fantasy Opportunity
We missed the Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers due to bad weather. After talking over our other travel plans with the customer service lady we booked the (Aoraki) Mt Cook Explorer heli flight and glacier landing Weather was so fantastic and well worth waiting for. The pilot, Ben made sure he explained the area and his knowledge was excellent.
