Me and my friends enjoyed the kiwi encounter at Kiwi park. We saw 4 kiwibirds and 1 of them is huge.will definitely recommend this especially those with kids.
Kia Ora, Thank you for the kind recommendation. There really is so much to see and do in our park. We're so pleased you and your friends enjoyed the Kiwi Encounter and were able to spot four of our kiwi. Our wildlife team loves helping guests find the birds while sharing fascinating facts about their behaviour and conservation. We're glad you found it a great family experience. We hope you also had the opportunity to enjoy our Conservation Show, Honeybee Centre, and complimentary honey tastings during your visit. Warm regards, Kiwi Park
The park is small but contains super interesting animals native to New Zealand. 10/10 worth the time spent there. Especially the Kiwi bird that was consistently pacing around was damn cute!
Kia Ora, Thank you for the fantastic review! While we may be compact, we're proud to be home to over 20 species of native wildlife, along with beautiful native flora throughout the park. Our kiwi houses use specialised lighting that allows guests to observe these incredible birds behaving naturally while keeping them comfortable in their nocturnal environment. We're so happy you enjoyed seeing our kiwi up close, they certainly have plenty of personality! Ngā mihi, Kiwi Park
The kiwi enclosure is fantastic, after about 5 minutes you can see the kiwis quite well. Great to be so close to them. The other displays are great too, and the gardens all though make it a nice walk around.
Kia Ora, It really is amazing how quickly your eyes adjust to the darkness in our nocturnal kiwi houses. Once they do, it's such a special experience seeing kiwi behaving naturally and up close. Our native gardens help create a peaceful sanctuary for both wildlife and visitors right in the heart of Queenstown. Warm regards, Kiwi Park

Great relaxing forest walk
We had a great visit to Kiwi Park Queenstown. The highlight was definitely getting to see the kiwi birds up close in the nocturnal encounter such a cool and unique experience. There were also plenty of talkative native birds around, which made the walk through the forest really enjoyable and peaceful. The park itself is set in a beautiful native forest, so it feels more like a nature walk than a typical wildlife park. The bird show was a bit underwhelming as not many birds were featured, but it was still informative and gave a good insight into conservation efforts. Overall, a lovely, easy stop if you’re in Queenstown.
