For those feeling adventurous, there’s also the option to add a thrilling jet boat ride along a West Coast river, weather permitting.

Round out the day with a relaxed stroll along a wild riverbed or beach, keeping an eye out for greenstone, known as Pounamu in Māori culture. Then sit back and enjoy the journey home, arriving in Wanaka in time for dinner after a day packed with unforgettable sights and experiences.
