Sit back and relax as we cruise the length of the 16km Fiord, venturing past the iconic Mitre Peak to the mighty Lady Bowen Falls, Lion Mountain, Copper Point, Seal Rock and Stirling Falls. Be sure to keep an eye out along the way for seals basking in the sun, pods of dolphins and even the rare Fiordland Crested Penguins that can be found seasonally within the region.
Our 2 hour cruises have strictly limited passenger numbers, ensuring you an intimate and authentic experience of one of the world’s most beautiful scenic destinations. Awesome cruise ride
I had an amazing Milford Sound cruise yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful from start to finish. The cruise itself was fantastic, especially when we got up close to the waterfalls, which made for an unforgettable experience. Throughout the journey, the captain shared interesting information and fun facts about Milford Sound, making the trip both educational and entertaining. The breathtaking scenery, combined with the excellent service and engaging commentary, made this one of the highlights of my visit. I would definitely recommend this cruise to anyone looking to experience the beauty of Milford Sound

Mitre Peak cruise
Fantastic cruise and an unforgettable experience! The skipper was very entertaining and kept everyone engaged throughout the trip. We especially loved how close the boat got to the waterfalls. The views were stunning, and the whole journey was well worth it. Highly recommended!

A sunny end to a rainy day.
okay, I will admit that I did not want to take a boat to experience Milford Sound, which is why I had originally booked a kayak tour. However, with the intense rain (that turned the sound into an amazing waterfall extravaganza!) my tour got cancelled. So I hopped on to the smallest boat I could find and ended up with Mitre Peak Cruises. I really liked how the captain took the time to show all the spots (even taking an extra lap to let the dolphins swim with us and another one to fish up a hat that got blown off someones head). All and all a fun day and an amazing experience!

Milford sound mitre peak cruise
I have a wonderful experience with mitre peak cruise. With its smaller cruise compared to the rest, I got the chance to stand closer to the Stirling falls! Not to say the fjord along the journey throughout! Will definitely go again if I happen to visit Milford!

Excellent
Most insane views of New Zealand (after 8 months traveling in this country). This experience is worth every penny. Don’t bother too much about which company to take, they are all doing the same tour and going close to the waterfalls it really makes no difference. Pure Milford was great and even saw 3 dolphins. It was very cold during mid June so take a lot of clothes with you
