The wheather was not good at the moment when I just arrived in the place. But, Dominic who is the instructor of the surfing gave me big welcome then we had some talk. This calm down my tension which was caused by thinking about first learning. Then we went out to the beach. Dominic taught me the few academic lessons then we plunge into the water. 1.5 lesson was gone so faster than nomal time runing. Everything was fantastic and feburous. I'll visit there again soon.
What a terrific wave!
The guys are very friendly and the equipament awsome.
A fantastic experience!
I managed to stand up, although only very briefly.
Our instructor was great!! My partner was very hesitant as he's not the biggest fan of the water but at the end of the lesson we couldn't get him out! Would definitely recommend over and over. Will definitely be back :) thanks again Chloe
Tim was a great, patient teacher and a lot of fun. He came to assist each student individually throughout the lesson. This was our first time surfing and we will definitely be doing it again!
Ryan was a great instructor who was very friendly and made us feel safe and comfortable. We really enjoyed our lesson!!
So professional and also easy going. Dave got us all "up to speed" with humour and patience. The tour was informative and fun. This is a must do experience in Dunedin! Thank you.
Wonderful afternoon. Very attentive staff and great commentary. Beautifully restored engines and carriages. Spectacular rock formations and scenery. Highly recommended.
It was a beautifully sunny day to experience the train trip from Dunedin to Pukerangi and we were seated in one of the older carriages. There were fewer passengers than expected on the afternoon journey, but this was perfect for obtaining spectacular views from the decks at the rear of the carriage. The commentary was informative but the jokes were painfully lame. Highly recommended.
Thatโs so nice and very good service staff.
We did the 4 hour return trip on a sunny Saturday in late August. There were beautiful vistas throughout the journey. We were seated in one of the lovely old carriages which added to the experience. The viaducts, bridges & tunnels were amazing engineering features. The Dunedin railway station is a beautiful building. All the staff we encountered were friendly & helpful. We would definitely recommend this train trip.
We have been meaning to go on this trip for a while. So to celebrate a year here in New Zealand we decided this was how we would mark the occasion and it was a great day. Dunedin Railway Station is a glorious starting point, beautiful architecture and friendly staff. The train journey itself took you through some very scenic and varied countryside and there was informative commentary along the way. A relaxing way to spend the afternoon.
Stunning scenery - friendly staff and informative commentary - we loved it
Classical Renaissance train compartment Magnificant scenic passage Goes between eye catching rural view and over bridges Highly recommended trip Suggestion Please include more information and talk about the history of this railway.
Can get chilly in winter even with airconditioning onboard, so wrap up warm if you're going in the colder months. I went on a beautiful day and got some interesting and entertaining commentary, there's food onboard too- wouldn't hurt the lady serving to smile a bit perhaps (of the ole' battle-axe variety) but was yum and reasonably priced. Recommend as a way to see the beautiful countryside, looked a bit boring for kids though.
What a great afternoon exploring the gorge by train. Comfortable seating with just the right amount of commentary. The scenery is beautiful and changing all the time. We travelled with a three yr old who slept on the way up.
Brilliant. Lots of fun challenges, an activity the family can do together. Great guide Dave, who took us on an amazing adventure despite the weather.
The railway trails is definitely a must do in Dunedin and highly recommended for railway's fans. The duration is about 4 hrs return from Pukerangi by passing Wingatui Viaduct which is the largest iron structure. The journey was amazing and memorable. Get some local best beer or wine from the cafe on board and enjoy your journey!
Great trip very informative commentary. Spectacular scenery
Such a fantastic way to see another part of NZ's South Island magnificent scenery
We were lucky with the weather so we were able to stand on the viewing platforms which I think makes for a good experience and better photo opportunities.
I went this with whole of my family. My parents, me, wife, two little girls and my nephew. We had really good time. Highly recommended
Beautiful day with plenty to see. The staff were amazing and the commentery along the journey was fabulous.
Our group was 16-60 years old and all had a great time! No manufacturing info but lots of history and fun facts about chocolate.
As two people who donโt drink much beer we absolutely loved this tour and recommend it to anyone and everyone. The tour itself was very informative and interesting and the tour guide was amazing! The tasters at the end were great and we got a great explanation about what we were actually tasting.
Girls had an amazing time, thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I'm actually considering joining them as members to take advantage of the Sunday members night deal. Definitely recommended
So accommodating and very nice and helpful staff!! The kids had a great time and so worth the money ๐
Tq cadbury world. Tq Lucas-our tour guide there. Good services and hospitality. Sure will come again. Recomended to all ?
Great kids had a fantastic time lots of free chocies just wish we em could have seen the staff working so the kids could see! Thankyou
Fun tour. The tour does not take you into any production areas of the factory, but does give visitors an interactive lesson on how Cadbury's chocolate is made.
This was a birthday treat for my daughter. She enjoyed it the leader was very good in telling us what and how chocolate was made but you weren't able to see any of the working of the factory. It would be good idea to put some windows in to be able to see what's goes on. I can understand that they cant have us walking around in the factory itself but to see into he kitchen or where they make the jaffa's would be good. Thanks Cadbury for all the wonderful years of making chocolate in Dunedin. We will miss you ?
