Join us for the best and longest cruise in Milford Sound, where you'll have over two hours to see all that the fiord is famous for. Our knowledgeable Nature Guide will be with you the whole way, sharing stories about how the landscape was formed, native wildlife and pointing out all the sights that make Milford Sound so incredible. The perfect cruise for those who like to take their time and take it all in. You might see New Zealand fur seals sunbathing on rocks, dolphins swimming alongside the boat, and if you're lucky, the rare Fiordland crested penguin. Onboard, you have the choice of spacious indoor cabins and outdoor decks for expansive views of the towering cliffs and spectacular waterfalls. We'll get up close to the famous waterfalls, like the 15,000-year-old Stirling Falls cascading from the rainforest high above. excellent cruise
It was the best choice because on the cruise there were only about 20 people and we were able to enjoy the trip more and we had plenty of room for photos

Highly recommended
Booked this kind of last minute and it was so worth it. Took the morning cruise and it was not full so we had more space. The staff were all lovely and the commentary was very informative and entertaining.

Amazing cruise, friendly staff and not crowded! Took the 9:30am cruise with southern discoveries and had plenty of room to move around! We loved it

Early morning cruise worth an early start
Went for the 9.30am cruise, which meant an early start from Te Anau but worth it as the boat wasn’t crowded, and we for both a still, misty morning with peaks sticking out of the clouds, then they were slowly revealed as the sun melted the clouds away. Simple and easy boarding and good commentary.
