Amazing experience, beautiful walk even if it wasn’t a thermal area. The fact it is, makes it mind blowing.
Great place. Took our English friends and we were able to see all the thermal activity and mud pools in one site. And such a beautiful place. Very different to Rotorua. But in a good way as both offer same but differently.

Geothermal adventure
This was our only geothermal paradise we chose to visit as we got to see active natural geysers , boiling hot springs and bubbling mud pools, biggest silica terraces of vibrant colours. We found this an easy walk through native bushwalk through this untouched geothermal landscape as well as seeing a geothermal cave.
