Nice soak
The family pools area is really small and sadly not worth the expense. There is nothing for kids to play with other than the very average/slow slide. Our kids lost interest and wanted to leave in less than 20 mins of arriving and they love swimming pools. Unfortunately, we would not return to the family area next time we are in Rotorua.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. The Family Pools are located within a heritage-protected area and include the original men’s swimming pool from the late 1800s, which forms an important part of the site’s history. Because of this heritage status, the area is carefully preserved and designed as a geothermal soaking and swimming space rather than a waterpark-style attraction. Children are welcome to bring their own swim toys to use in the pools, which many families find adds to their visit.
Not very enjoyable. Lots of restrictions.
Dear Chaitanya, thank you for both your Google and Bookme reviews. The guidelines in our Family Pools are in place to keep everyone safe, especially children, and to ensure the area remains enjoyable for all families. We appreciate you taking the time to leave feedback across both platforms.

family funtime
we arrived on a rather unpleasant day weatherwise. The pools are spotlessly clean which was lovely to experience. The ladies at reception were super friendly and welcoming. Water was lovely and warm and was regularly checked by assistants. The kids loved the slide and had great fun sliding into the pool. Overall, most enjoyable. 0
