Pavilion pools is natures haven reserved specifically for adults and young adults 12+ to enjoy. Get treated to breathtaking views of Lake Rotorua while soaking in nature's therapeutic properties at this secluded site.
Start off with a beautiful reflexology walk stimulating pressure points in your feet encouraging energy and blood flow throughout your body. When you’re ready, alternate between the five Rachel Spring alkaline mineral hot pools known for nourishing the skin and the three Priest Spring acidic mineral hot pools to relieve tired muscles, aches and pains. Indulge in true relaxation.
When you're done, you have access to spacious changing facilities and showers with private cubicle options provided. Free storage tubs are available and secure lockers are available at an extra cost.

Amazing day at this beautiful Spa
Fantastic view from the pools to the lake. The warm and hot pools were incredible, especially on a rainy, cloudy winter day.

Pool were great
Great experience but slightly missleading as they should have mentioned more clearly there would be a towel charge... I.e. bring towels or there hire at a charge.

Polynesian Spa - Pavillion Pools Rotorua
Such a wonderful place to relax in peace and quiet while taking in the views across the lake. Book Me discount was a bonus too.

Worst Spa Experience
We went for an evening session and it can only be described as disappointing. The receptionist was rude and dismissive. There was a large group of school children and some tourists making lots of noise in the quiet areas. This was ignored by the staff. Staff are quick to tell you what you can't do when they can get more money out of you though. Cleanliness was an issue with the bathrooms being dirty and there was no requirement to shower before bathing leading to poor hygiene.

Following your review, we conducted a full investigation, including a review of CCTV footage and discussions with the team on duty. Our records show you checked into Pavilion Pools at 7:34pm and approached Reception at approximately 8:08pm to raise concerns about a large school group that had entered the bathing area. Our team acknowledged your concerns and advised that, as your booking was made through BookMe, any refund request would need to be directed through BookMe. The group, consisting of secondary school students, was actively monitored by staff throughout their visit. While the overall noise level increased due to the number of guests present, no behaviour was observed that required intervention and no noise-related complaints were received from other guests. The group departed at approximately 9:00pm. Our records also show that you continued to enjoy the Pavilion Pools until approximately 10:50pm, almost two hours after the group had left. The cleanliness and hygiene concerns mentioned in your review were not raised with our team during your visit, and no cleanliness issues were reported by other guests that evening. Polynesian Spa maintains a comprehensive cleaning programme across all bathing and changing facilities, with regular checks completed throughout operating hours. We appreciate all guest feedback and have reviewed the interaction with our Reception team. We are satisfied that the matter was handled professionally and in accordance with our procedures. Spa with the best view
I really enjoyed all of the pools in pavilion pools section. The temperature was just right and it was refreshing and peaceful experience for me. And I was surprised my time wasn't limited so I could stay there for just the right time to relax. Definitely recommend! 🫶
