Rotoroa Island day trip
What an amazing island to visit, the bird life, hiking and beaches make this a great day out. The explore crew were all friendly and so organised.

Beautiful and peaceful
From the beautiful bush to the golden sands beaches, my eyes couldn’t take everything in fast enough! I do wish we were able to see more types of birds, but perhaps that’s what the guided walk could provide!

From awesome staff on the boats and Island to beautiful beaches, great birdlife and history, I thoroughly recommend this trip. We will overnight next time. Fantastic.

I really enjoyed my trip to Rotoroa island. There was a great amount of time to explore the beautiful island. The crew are friendly, and the boat trip was a really lovely experience. However, could you please fix the PA system. I am sure the information would be really helpful, if you could hear what was being said.

A beautiful day out
We had perfect weather and a lovely swim as well as walking to both ends of the island and seeing loads of birds including saddlebacks, a family of takahe, north island weka, whiteheads and heard stitch birds. Highly recommended
