Middlemarch Cafes
Turn around at Middlemarch rather than Pulerangi would be my improvement suggestion. Staff were great. Trip a little lack lustre for first and last hour.

Just do it
A great trip, well worth it. Good, informative commentary, great views and the food and drinks from the on board Cafe were delicious.

Not to be missed!
We were wowed by both the scenery and history of the ride up the gorge. Sharon did the commentary and it surpassed our expectations. 5 hours seemed like a long time at the beginning but time whizzed by. Highly recommend.

Julie and Maria miss the best bit
Loved the trip up to Pukerangi and were looking forward to enjoying the trip back especially the rocky gorge as we hoped to be outside,, while we were waiting on the return trip for food, we were in the buffet car and on return to our seats realised the best bit was already past. We felt like a couple of dolts but laughed. Well worth the money. Thank you. Just a suggestion for the food and coffee service. a supply of Nescafe coffee sticks would have been most welcome in place of a barista coffee (which wasn't on offer) and easy enough. Otherwise 10 out of 10
