One must be prepared as landscape is treacherous
The trip is really worth it, cheap and wonderful trip to Rangitoto. The lava cave is a must visit, the summit view is okay. There are three caves and pretty short and thrilling to explore inside. Other than that, wear a good shoes, cause it is very rocky due to volcanic landscape.
When pickup ticket in ticket office, the staff just gave us 5 tickets out of 8 we bought online, took us over 15 mins to call customer Service and get the rest of the tickets
